Well it came as a surprise to receive an email from Stompernet stating they’ve shipped me a review copy of their Stomping the Search Engines 2 and The Net Effect.
I have never reviewed a Stompernet product before and was very pleased at the opportunity to have a sneak peak into the product before everyone else.
Unfortunately the timing wasn’t the best and I haven’t been able to even look at StSE2 until today (09-01-2008). Now I have 2 hours to go through the product and write an honest review! This should be fun.
So… What is Stomping the Search Engines 2 anyways??
According to Andy Jenkins (great guy, you should check him out on twitter) this is a physical product that will be shipped directly to your doorstep rather than just something to download and forget about. The StSE2 comes in DVD format to play right in your player and teaches you everything you possibly want to know about Search Engine Optimization. The Net Effect is a printed publication that makes for a wonderful read in the bathroom while you’re doing your “business”.

That’s great… but this is Stompernet… If I’m going to be paying a fortune for this thing, I want to get something that worth it and not a bunch of fluff.
You know the drill… Just fork over $2997 and they’ll ship you a couple DVDs with Andy Jenkins dancing. He’s pretty sexy you know. I’d pay just to get more of Andy’s moves on my big screen.
I’m kidding… Andy might show off his Dancing skills every once in a while, but this product is way more than a DVD with bunch of videos and no real content.
Come on… This is Stompernet we’re talking about here… I’m guessing you know who they have on their team right? Of course you do… but just in case it might have slipped your mind… Here’s a quick breakdown as a quick refresher.
First they have Andy Edmonds who used to be the lead of analytics for Microsoft’s Live Search team. Also joining them they have Dan Theis who is known to be the world’s leading expert in keyword research and analysis. Leslie Rohde with his mad site structure skills and Jerry West the SEO Guru guy join them to give their expect advice. Jerry has made millions under the radar so you probably haven’t heard of him until now.
And of course Stompernet’s very own Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins. These two guys just compliment each other. Brad’s professionalism and Andy’s… well… nevermind.
Seriously though Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins have more combined knowledge and talent it’s scary, but good for those who want to learn from them. They know their stuff and I bet you’ll be hard pressed trying to find someone to disagree (someone who’s not disgruntled that is)
Alright, so they have a great team… I just want to know what I’m going to learn.
